New York State AFL-CIO Announces Endorsement of Ken Zebrowski, Jr.

(Special Election to be held for 94th Assembly District on May 1st)

NEW YORK, NY (04/18/2007)(readMedia)-- Denis Hughes, President of the 2 1/2 million member New York State AFL-CIO today announced the State Labor Federation's endorsement of Ken Zebrowski, Jr. for Assembly. The special election for the open seat in the 94th assembly district is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1st.

President Hughes stated, "The New York State AFL-CIO is pleased to announce its endorsement of Ken Zebrowski, Jr. for Assembly.

Ken Zebrowski, Jr. has reached out to local unions in his district, and has shown a keen awareness and understanding of the issues, needs and concerns important to working men and women.

"As a result of his efforts, Ken Zebrowski, Jr. has received substantial support within the labor movement. As such, the New York State AFL-CIO will work diligently for his election."

The New York State AFL-CIO represents 14,000 union members in the 94th Assembly district.
