CHAMPAIGN, IL (06/28/2011)(readMedia)-- Nicholas Stokes of St. Joseph has been named the newest member of the Parkland College Foundation Board of Directors. He is a vice president for Longview State Bank in Sidney, Illinois.
Active in the financial industry for 15 years, Mr. Stokes is a former president and CEO of First National Bank in Georgetown. He has served on the board of directors of four financial institutions, a bank holding company, and an Economic Development Corporation, along with the Illinois Bankers Association Agricultural Advisory Committee. He also has been a member of three Chamber of Commerce Ag Councils. Mr. Stokes has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and resides with his wife and two children in St. Joseph.
