PEF Black Caucus Hosts Panel Discussion on Diversity in the "New" America

ALBANY, NY (11/28/2017) (readMedia)-- The Black Caucus of the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) Albany Chapter will host a panel discussion addressing diversity in the "new" America. The event will include seven prominent panelists including panel moderator Dr. Regena Thomas, American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Co-Director of Human Rights and Community Relations, elected representatives and educators.

WHO:

The Black Caucus of the NYS Public Employees Federation Albany Chapter will present a panel discussion on “Diversity in the “New” America.” The panelists are: New York State Senator Marisol Alcantara; state Assemblyman Harry Bronson; Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan; Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares; Albany NAACP President Gwen Pope; Professor of Economics at SUNY Albany Dr. Kajal Lahari; and, Panel Moderator, Dr. Regena Thomas, AFT Co- Director of Human Rights and Community Relations.

WHAT:

A panel discussion on diversity in the "new" America, hosted by the  Black Caucus of the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) Albany Chapter. It is free and open to the public.
