PEF President Wayne Spence's Fourth Inaugural Set for 11 a.m. Saturday
ALBANY, NY (08/02/2024) (readMedia)-- PEF President Wayne Spence will be formally sworn-in for his fourth consecutive term as President of the Public Employees Federation on Saturday, Aug. 3. He is the first person in the 45-year history of the union to be elected to a fourth three-year term. Media coverage is invited.

Gov. Kathy Hochul will make remarks and New York State Attorney General Letitia James will administer the oath of office. President Spence, as well as all of the union's statewide officers, will be sworn in. Additional speakers include State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli. NYS AFL-CIO President Mario Cilento will serve as the event emcee.
