PEF holds Save Our Services rally, hundreds expected

ALBANY, NY (01/28/2014)(readMedia)-- Albany – Hundreds of members of the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) will rally Wednesday as part of the union's "Save Our Services" campaign. They will be joined by members from the Civil Service Employees Association and the New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOPBA).

The rally will take place inside the Legislative Office Building in Albany in the well Wednesday, January 29 at 12 noon.

New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF), joined by labor leaders from other unions.
WHAT:

The rally is part of PEF's "Save Our Services" campaign. The rally is being held to protest the reduction of services proposed by Governor Cuomo that will affect the state Office of Mental Health, the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, the Office of People With Developmental Disabilities and SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
