Pennsylvania Resident Leigh Ann Hewston Honored at Thomas Jefferson University's Annual Awards Ceremony

PHILADELPHIA, PA (09/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Leigh Ann Hewston, PT, MEd, a Paoli resident and Thomas Jefferson University's School of Health Professions (JSHP) faculty member, was recognized for her dedication to higher education at Jefferson's annual awards ceremony in June.

Ms. Hewston, Assistant Professor in JSHP's Department of Physical Therapy, was awarded the Jefferson Award for Excellence in Interprofessional Education, which recognizes outstanding faculty members who demonstrate excellence in interprofessional education, and whose efforts have resulted in sustained impact on interprofessional collaboration to improve the education of Jefferson students.
