Price Chopper Celebrates Grand Opening

Company adds 12,000 square feet to store

SCHENECTADY, NY (06/26/2008)(readMedia)-- Price Chopper officials will be on hand to celebrate the completion of a 12,000 sq. ft. expansion to its store at 115 Ballston Ave., Saratoga, NY. In conjunction with the upcoming July 4th holiday, there will be a flag raising by the Gurtler Brothers VFW Post #420 and the Korean War Veterans, Adirondack Chapter. Local high school student, Britney Henderson will sing the National Anthem at the flag raising. The first 150 customers will receive a small American Flag. Price Chopper's Ben & Bill's Deli will offer a mini pastrami on rye sandwich, chips & soda to customers making a $3 donation to the VFW. The store will close Saturday, June 28th at 11pm and reopen Sunday, June 29th at 7pm
