LATHAM, N.Y. (10/19/2011)(readMedia)-- ReEnergy Holdings LLC, a Latham, N.Y.- based renewable energy company, has appointed Samuel R. Demers as its Regional Health and Safety Coordinator.
Mr. Demers is responsible for managing ReEnergy's overall health and safety activities in partnership with each site's management team. ReEnergy owns and operates four renewable energy generation and fuel processing facilities in the Northeast, and is in the process of acquiring others.

Mr. Demers, a resident of Nashua, N.H., previously worked for International Power/GDF Suez Energy as a health, safety and environmental coordinator at multiple sites across the Northeast. His duties included developing and coordinating training programs for all plant staff.
Mr. Demers holds a bachelor's degree in Safety Studies from Keene State College in New Hampshire.
