Record Breaking Number of Schools Raising Funds on McTeacher's Night, April 13, 2010
More than 50 Capital Region schools participating in third year of event

WHAT: A unique fundraising effort in McDonald's Restaurants in the Capital Region. Participating schools will receive an equal share of 20% of all sales from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the restaurants on McTeacher's Night.
WHO: Local public, private and charter school teachers, administrators, students and families, Ronald McDonald and McDonald's owners, managers and employees
WHEN: Tuesday, April 13, 2010
4:30 – 7:00 p.m.
A few schools will be participating on April 14th and 15th at the same time
WHERE: McDonald's Restaurants throughout the Capital Region
WHY: McTeacher's Night launched in the Capital Region in 2008, and was a successful fundraising event for area schools. Given the strain on school budgets, area McDonald's restaurants are making every effort in this third year of McTeacher's Night to assure that this event will raise much-needed additional funds for education.
