Retired State Employees Hold Conference to Protect Benefits

ALBANY, NY (07/27/2012)(readMedia)-- State employees who retired from the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) are holding an annual leadership conference at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Buffalo, Tuesday, July 31 and Wednesday, August 1.

The conference theme, "Protecting What We Have!" will focus on social security and Medicare, and will include workshops and speakers. The July 31 speaker will be a representative from the Office of the State Comptroller.

Members of the media are invited to hear Assembly Member Sean Ryan speak on August 1 at 1:45 p.m.

The Adam's Mark Hotel is located at 120 Church Street, Buffalo.
