Ribbon Cutting for Illinois Air Guard Aircraft Engine Repair Facility

SPRINGFIELD, IL (05/31/2011)(readMedia)-- The 183rd Fighter Wing will cut the ribbone and officially open its newly reconstructed aircraft engine centralized repair facility. The $6.2 million specially designed renovation project not only modernizes an existing base structure, but will greatly enhance the capability of our maintenance personnel to provide quality General Electric engines for Air National Guard and Air Force F-16 aircraft.
