WASHINGTON, DC (09/09/2013)(readMedia)-- A ribbon-cutting ceremony is slated to be held for the DC National Guard Museum, a 1,000 square foot gallery, dedicated to the heritage and traditions of the District's community fighting force. An additional gallery highlighting the role of the District of Columbia National Guard's role as first responders on September 11, 2001, featuring uniforms and equipment used by pilots directly involved in the day's events, will also be on display.
