LYNCHBURG, VA (04/29/2011)(readMedia)-- The Virginia Credit Union League, a trade association for the state's credit unions, is pleased to announce the election of four individuals to its board of directors, including two Richmond-area credit union executives. Election results were announced at the League's recent Annual Meeting in Norfolk, Virginia.
The two Richmond-area credit union executives elected to the League Board are Rose Gilliam, of DuPont Fibers Federal Credit Union, and Chris Williams, of Henrico Federal Credit Union. Both were elected to a three-year term.
Williams will represent credit unions in Richmond, Petersburg and parts of Southside Virginia with $50 million or more in assets. He is CEO of his credit union, which has $113 million in assets.

Re-elected to the board were two Northern Virginia credit union executives: Cheryl Dickerson, of Fairfax City Federal Credit Union, and Gaye DeCesare, of Belvoir Federal Credit Union. Each won a three-year term on the board.
Dickerson will represent credit unions with less than $50 million in assets in Northern Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley and Charlottesville. She has served on the League Board since 2007, and is manager of her credit union, which has $2.5 million in assets.
