Sarah Wild Named NCCAA II Player of the Week

CLEARWATER, FL (11/03/2011)(readMedia)-- Clearwater Christian College women's volleyball player Sarah Wild was named the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Player of the Week for the week of October 24-31. According to the NCCAA website, "Sarah Wild helped lead her team to a 5-0 winning week. She had a total of 160 assists during the week for an average of 10 per game. She also averaged 3.6 digs per game for a total of 58. Sarah added 16 kills, 7 aces, and was 66 out of 67 serving."
Sarah Wild, of Palm Harbor, FL, is a sophomore General Studies major. She is a graduate of Fulton County Christian Academy in Rochester, IN.
Coach Vickie Denny said, "Sarah is our starting setter. Even though this is a new role for her, she brings a lot of energy to the team and will be the key to our offensive system of play for the National Tournament. She was named as Second Team All-Region at the South Region Championship."
