Seward Johnson's realistic bronze sculptures of everyday contemporary people have been bringing life to the streets of downtown Albany since June 2010. Whether it is a tired businessman trying to catch some shut-eye on the bench in Academy Park or a pair of mariachi players performing their soundless music to passersby on State Street, the 16 sculptures scattered about downtown Albany have made their presence known over the past few months. Sculpture sponsors for this exhibit include: Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, Bombers Burrito Bar/Wolff's Biergarten, Capitalize Albany Corporation, Cass Hill Development, Center for Economic Growth (CEG), Columbia Development Companies, EYP, Hampton Inn & Suites (Downtown Albany), Legacy Banks, M&T Bank, O'Connell & Aronowitz, The Palace Theatre, Tech Valley Communications, We Want Trader Joe's, Yono's, and Zone 5.
