Secure America Now Launches New National TV Ad Calling for More Sanctions on Iran

"We applaud Democrat Senator Menendez, Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, for continuing to push for the imposition of tougher sanctions on Iran's Islamic Republic and we are starting a multi-media campaign to urge all members of Congress to back increasing sanctions at this crucial time.

Everyone agrees that without economic sanctions Iran would never have consented to talks with the United States and other countries.

But the first round of these talks showed that Iran is not willing to stop its production of enriched Uranium nor is it willing to ship out its stockpile of enriched Uranium or abandon the plutonium reactor it is constructing. In short, Iran must not be rewarded by easing sanctions if it does not end its nuclear program that threatens the world.

We need to send a message to the leaders of Iran. The United States will not stand idly by as Iran, a country that has been murdering Americans in terrorist actions for over 30 years, gets nuclear weapons. We will economically bring your country to its knees unless you stop your war-like nuclear program.

The way to do this is by expanding the sanctions regime against Iran."
