Sen. Biaggi, AM Steck & Common Cause/NY Push Leg to Separate Resigned Pols from Campaign $$
NEW YORK, NY (05/09/2022) (readMedia)-- On Tuesday, Susan Lerner, executive director of Common Cause/NY, Senator Biaggi and Assemblymember Steck will join together to push state lawmakers to pass legislation that would no longer allow an elected official who resigned, was impeached or convicted of a crime while in office to use campaign funds for certain activities.
