Seven Capital Region High School Players Nominated to McDonald's All American Boys and Girls Basketball Teams
Recognition ceremonies planned at home games in the Capital Region

WHAT: McDonald's Owner Operators of the Capital Region will make presentations to the 2011 All American High School Basketball Team nominees at final home games.
This year marks the 34th Anniversary of the Boys Game and the 10th Anniversary of the Girls Game. McDonald's All American games have become a highlight of high school basketball, honoring the best of the best. Nearly two thousand nominees will be competing to fill positions at the final game on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the famed Union Center in Chicago, Ill. Proceeds from ticket sales of both games will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. To date, millions of dollars have been donated to RMHC Chapters from proceeds generated at the McDonald's All American Games.
