ST. PAUL, MN (12/01/2010)(readMedia)-- Dan Sailer, of Sioux Falls, S.D., took second place in the individual college snare drum category at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention Marching Percussion Competition in Indianapolis, Indiana on Nov. 10-13, 2010. Sailer is a sophomore music education major at Concordia.
Players from across the country and from some of the most prestigious drum corps and colleges composed a three minute snare drum solo to be judged by three of the top professionals in the business. Sailer missed the title by one point.
