Sioux Falls Resident Rev. Dale L. Sattgast Receives Honorary Doctorate from Concordia University, St. Paul

ST. PAUL, MN (05/27/2011)(readMedia)-- Rev. Dale L. Sattgast, a resident of Sioux Falls, S.D., received an honorary doctorate from Concordia University, St. Paul on May 13, for his 30 years of service to the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

Rev. Sattgast is a graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and was ordained in 1980. Throughout his ministry, Rev. Sattgast has served in multiple circuit and district-level positions, including five terms as South Dakota District vice president. He has 18 years of experience with the LCMS adjudication and dispute resolution processes, has been a member of the floor committee for five national LCMS conventions and has chaired a special Council of Presidents Reconciliation Committee. Rev. Sattgast currently serves as the LCMS's South Dakota District president.
