Southern California University of Health Sciences Appoints Three Faculty Members to New Leadership Roles
WHITTIER, CA (09/17/2009)(readMedia)-- Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) has announced that Interim President Dr. John Scaringe appointed Todd Knudsen, DC, DACBR as Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mike Sackett, DC, MS, DABCO as Interim Dean of Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC), and Stanley Ewald, DC, MPH as Interim Chief of Staff. These selections follow the SCU Board of Regents notice in August that Dr. Scaringe was named the university's Interim President.
Dr. Knudsen has previously served as Dean of the LACC at SCU. He received his Bachelors and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from LACC. He holds a Diplomate from the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology.
Dr. Sackett previously served as Chief of Staff for SCU. He received his Masters of Science from University of Bridgeport and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College. He holds a Diplomate from the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists.
Dr. Ewald previously served as Clinic Director for the Doctor of Chiropractic program. He received his Bachelors of Science from California State Polytechnic University, his Masters of Public Health from University of California Los Angeles, and his Doctor of Chiropractic from LACC.
