State Fair's 2010 Free Entertainment Lineup Announced

SAINT PAUL, MINN. (05/24/2010)(readMedia)-- The Minnesota State Fair's free entertainment lineup features more than 100 acts-all free with the price of admission.

This year's Bandshell Tonight! Series features Boyz II?Men, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Rosanne Cash, Trampled By Turtles, The Family Stone and The Lost Trailers.

The Bandshell's daytime entertainment includes: Jeff Allen, Gwen Sebastian and Breakaway, Geno Delafose, Cherryholmes, Tonic Sol-fa, Jason D. Williams, Bellagala Big Band, The Quebe Sisters Band, David Ball, Monroe?Crossing, Steve Meisner, The Haygoods, Caitlin Crosby, Jim Lauderdale, InPulse, Abalone Dots, Marcoux Corner, Eddie Blazonczyk's Versatones and Crazy Keys Dueling Pianos.

Acts confirmed for Bazaar After Dark at the International Bazaar Stage are Neil Dynamite, Maria Isa, The Belfast Cowboys, Power of 10, Dosh and Alison Scott.

The Pines, Romantica, Billy McLaughlin & His Eclectric String Quartet, Martin Zellar and the Hardways, Tommy Jennings and Roma di Luna will perform evenings at the Heritage Square Stage for the Heritage At Sundown Series.

ShenaniGuns! Comedy Wild West Show (Sponsored by American Express, Inc.) is back and located just east of Heritage Square with three free shows daily.

Free entertainment venues at the fair include: Leinie Lodge Bandshell (sponsored by Leinenkugel's), The North Woods, The X-Zone, International Bazaar Stage (sponsored by Summit Brewing Co.), Family Fair Stage at Baldwin Park (sponsored by Green Mill Restaurant), Heritage Square Stage (sponsored by August Schell Brewing Co.) and the Ramberg Senior Center Stage.

The 2010 Minnesota State Fair runs Thursday, Aug. 26 through Labor Day, Sept. 6.
