PHILADELPHIA, PA (06/20/2011)(readMedia)-- Stephen Fredericks of Cape May was named the top graduating student in the chemistry/biochemistry program at La Salle University. Fredericks was involved in undergraduate research for three of his four years at La Salle. His contributions include working on a variety of projects in the areas of nanotechnology and organic synthesis. He is a three-time winner of the Brother Claude Demitras Memorial Chemistry Award, a recipient of the Donaghy Fund and Tekel Chemistry Scholarship, as was a co-author of a research article published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry C.
