Street Rod and Muscle Car Show at the DC National Guard Armory this weekend

Event will benefit past and present disabled American vets

WASHINGTON, DC (04/22/2010)(readMedia)-- Remember the thunder of the old-school monster car shows at the Armory. Well they are back. The first annual Custom Classic Street Rod and Muscle Car Show will be at the D.C. National Guard Armory Saturday and Sunday, April 24-25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show will benefit past and present disabled American Veterans.

Come see the finest in custom muscle cars, vintage street rods and motorcycles guaranteed to get your motors revved. There will be something for everyone at the event, which will include television and sports celebrities. An awards ceremony will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

There is a car entry fee of $50 per vehicle. Motorcycles are invited at the same price. The event is sponsored by the Unity Thunder Car Club and the District of Columbia National Guard Enlisted Association.
