NASHVILLE TN (11/29/2010)(readMedia)-- The American Lung Association's 2011 Golf Tour Book is the perfect holiday gift for golfers. The "Lung Book" includes discounts on over 2000 rounds of golf, and all proceeds benefit the critical fight against lung disease.

More than 450 fine courses in Tennessee, Kentucky and several other states are participating in the 2011 program.

Many of the courses allow each book holder to play multiple rounds; some permit one round a month; and 120 clubs allow unlimited play. The book also includes numerous driving range discounts.

"Golf Tour Books offer a great way for golfers to save money on their favorite hobby, while helping the American Lung Association save lives," said Carolyn Embry, who coordinates the program. Proceeds from the program support medical research, community health programs, advocacy and services for people suffering from lung ailments.

"Remember to purchase Golf Tour Books for stocking stuffers, thank-you gifts for business associates or presents for golfing friends and family members," said Embry. They may be purchased for only $25 a piece. Orders placed now will be filled in time for holiday giving.

Golf Tour Books may be ordered on-line at www.alatn.org; by calling the American Lung Association at 1-877-893-LUNG or by sending a check (payable to the American Lung Association) to the regional golf book processing center: American Lung Association, P.O. Box 9067, Louisville, Kentucky 40209.
