Taylor Cole of Wilmette Earns Academic Recognition at Skidmore College
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (06/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Taylor Cole, a member of the Class of 2012 at Skidmore College, earned academic recognition at the college this spring.
He is the son of Stephen and Christine Cole of Wilmette.
Cole earned a B.A. degree magna cum laude at Skidmore's 101st commencement in May at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. In addition, he received the Louis Edgar Johns Award, named in honor of a former professor and presented annually to the outstanding music major or minor in piano.
Cole earned honors for academic work completed during the spring 2012 semester.
Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. The college grants the bachelor's degree in some 60 majors, including both traditional liberal arts disciplines and preprofessional programs. Skidmore also awards the master of arts in liberal studies degree.
