ALBANY, NY (02/28/2013)(readMedia)-- A social media giant, one of the leading communication companies in New York and one of the world's most valuable companies are coming together to support The Business Council of New York State's next Technology Roundtable in Albany, Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Facebook, Verizon and Microsoft are sponsoring The 21st Century Classroom: Innovative Training in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Allyson Knox, director of education policy and programs for Microsoft Corporation, will be the guest speaker.

Discussion will center on what innovative companies such as Microsoft are doing to promote STEM training and what their experience has been in this emerging area in the field of education.

The Technology Roundtable is a luncheon seminar series that serves as a central resource for our members and the greater technology sector in New York for news on state and federal policies, events and other industry developments. Each meeting will feature a speaker on a topic of interest as well as industry updates, and an open discussion forum.

Registration fees for Business Council members is $35; future members, $45.
