Top Dogs Take Honors at Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (08/24/2023) (readMedia)-- A long-haired Chihuahua shown by Rosalie Sterner of Rochester, MN, claimed Best in Show during the Dog Show judged Sunday, August 20, at the 2023 Iowa State Fair.

Eliza Baskett of Waverly won Best Junior Handler honors with her Catahoula.

In the obedience competition, Carley Sheil of Kellerton claimed the Highest Scoring Junior Handler and Highest Scoring Dog in Obedience with a Shetland Sheepdog.
