Zachary Sweebe of Strongsville Earns Academic Recognition at Skidmore College
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (07/21/2011)(readMedia)-- Zachary Sweebe, a member of the Class of 2012 at Skidmore College, earned academic recognition at the college this spring.
He is the son of Richard and Bonnie Sweebe of Strongsville.
Sweebe was one of two students who received support from Skidmore's Messa and Direnzo Family Student Opportunity Fund for Study in Italy this year. The program awards funds to students studying in Italy who wish to engage in Italian cultural activities, such as attending performances, visiting museums, reviewing archives, and traveling to important sites.
Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. The college grants the bachelor's degree in some 60 majors, including both traditional liberal arts disciplines and preprofessional programs. Skidmore also awards the master of arts in liberal studies degree.
