CAPITAL REGION, NY (09/26/2011)(readMedia)-- The 2011 MoHu Festival begins in less than a month and already the number of participating organizations has grown tremendously. To date, more than fifty regional arts and cultural organizations, large and small, have signed on. These organizations are offering more than 500 opportunities to experience MoHu from performances to exhibitions, gallery openings and lectures and more.
Peter Lesser, Executive Director, The Egg, commenting about the growth of MoHu said, "The list of events and venues has been growing steadily since we started. This is really perfect for people who want to experience more of our region's arts and culture but never knew where to begin. You certainly won't have to look far to find something of interest."
"There's also a sense of anticipation and energy in the air. A lot of people are already blogging, tweeting and talking about MoHu, added Robert Altman, President and CEO of WMHT "And they should be! This is an unprecedented collaboration between the area's thriving arts communities. MoHu has the momentum to deliver on its promise to be very exciting."
