DES MOINES, IA (07/07/2025) (readMedia)-- Join the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation for the 2025 Corndog Kickoff Benefit Auction and Fair Food Grazing Party on Saturday, July 12. Hosted in the William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds, this year's "Stir It Up" theme will celebrate the competitive Iowa State Fair food department.

As the Blue Ribbon Foundation's largest fundraising event of the year, the Corndog Kickoff will feature a wide variety of irresistible Iowa State Fair foods, thrilling auction packages, Sky Glider rides and a fireworks show. Highlights from this year's auction include:

Sculpt the Butter Cow – Help Sarah Pratt sculpt the tail of the 2025 Iowa State Fair Butter Cow.

Night in the Museum – Enjoy a private cocktail party for up to 20 people in the Ralph Deets Historical Museum on the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Set for Monday, December 8, take a behind-the-scenes tour and be entertained with fun Fair stories from over the years.

Am I Okay? – We know you'll be okay as you and your friends take in the powerful vocals of Megan Moroney during her concert on Saturday, August 9 in a VIP Spectator Suite.

Corndog Kickoff tickets are $125 and can be purchased online at www.BlueRibbonFoundation.org, by calling the Foundation at 515-262-3111 Ext. 371 or at the door. Doors open at 6:30 PM.

If you are unable to join in-person, you can still "Stir It Up" by bidding on silent auction items through GiveSmart. A link to the event page for the auction can be found on the Blue Ribbon Foundation website. The silent auction will open for bidding at 10 AM on Friday, July 11. Bidding will close at 8:30 PM on Saturday, July 12.
