ALBANY, NY (11/17/2013)(readMedia)-- The Capital District chapters of the Albany Ad Club, Alliance for Women in Media, American Marketing Association, and Women's Press Club are pleased to announce this year's holiday mixer, "White Out Hunger" at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the offices of the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, 965 Albany Shaker Road, Latham, NY. Cost is $35 for members, non-members and students.
An annual event, this evening of holiday networking raises funds for charity. In 2013, we are honored to support the efforts of our community's local Food Bank. Each year, more than 25 million pounds of food are received, sorted, repackaged and sent out to over 1,000 member agencies throughout a 23-county service area through the Food Bank's Latham facility.
Donations will be accepted for silent auction and raffle items. All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
