ROCHESTER, NY (01/21/2010)(readMedia)-- Nazareth College's Sigma Phi Omega chapter of the National Gerontology Honor Society and the Gerontology Club are proud to host an Alzheimer's lecture on January 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Shults Center Forum. Nazareth College is located at 4245 East Ave., Rochester, N.Y. 14618. The lecture welcomes two speakers: Bob Betterton, author of The Familiar Stranger Who Lives in Our Home, will give his personal account of living with his wife who has dementia, and Eve Moses from the Alzheimer's Association will give the concrete details on this issue. A book signing will take place after the lecture. A week prior to the event there will be a donation drive to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association with the goal of raising $1,000. The money will be presented to the Association after the lecture. Each donation will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of three signed copies of Betterton's book.
