ALBANY, NY (03/31/2008)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association will host a luncheon event with guest speaker AnnaMaria Turano, founding partner and Executive Director of MCAworks, a strategic marketing consulting firm based in Westport, CT and co-author of “Stopwatch Marketing: Take Charge of the Time When Your Customer Decides to Buy” (Portfolio: January 2008). Turano will discuss the importance of time at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Wolfert’s Roost Country Club in Albany.

“Sometimes shopping takes minutes, but is still too long; sometimes shopping takes months, and the shopper is sad to see it end,” says Turano. “Understanding how much time and energy consumers are willing to spend shopping for a particular purchase – their shopping strategies – is the single most important (and overlooked) thing you need to know in order to succeed in selling your product or service to them.”

Join NYCRAMA as AnnaMarie Turano discusses how to determine the most effective length for your selling messages; the factors that comprise the underlying shopping strategy of the majority of your customers – and how to allocate your marketing resources accordingly as well as the touchpoints that your customers consider most critical.
