Armed Forces Day celebration at Fort McClellan

MONTGOMERY, AL (05/11/2012)(readMedia)-- The Fort McClellan Army National Guard Training Center will host an Armed Forces Day celebration to pay honor and respect to members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.

Representatives from all branches of the military will be present with displays and booths. There will be various military exhibits, state and local organizations, vendors, a health fair, children's crafts, and more fun activities for the entire family.

The event is free and open to the public, and is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Refreshments will be available for purchase. The public should use the Galloway Gate, off Highway 21 North in Anniston, to access the event.
