NEW YORK, NY (06/27/2012)(readMedia)-- In light of the recent housing development initiatives under-way, low-income community members have become increasingly worried about the future of affordable and public housing in Yonkers, as well as ensuring low-income communities benefit from new job creation.
WHO: | Organized by CVH and partners, this forum will allow low-income men and women of color to discus their concerns with Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano. |
WHAT: | Community Voices Heard (CVH) members and other Yonkers' residents will speak face-to-face with Mayor Spano, urging him to consider the concerns of low-income community members of color. They aim to have Mayor Spano commit to address their housing needs. |
