Capital District Area Labor Federation to Host Labor Issues Forum with Elected Leaders

Local Labor Leaders Outline Legislative Priorities for 2015

ALBANY, NY (02/04/2015)(readMedia)-- The Capital District Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO is pleased to announce our 2015 Labor Issues Forum. This event (which is open to the public) brings together statewide and local elected officials and Labor leaders to discuss the economic problems facing our communities, and Labor's proposed solutions and goals for 2015. The 2015 Issues Forum is an important opportunity for CDALF's affiliated labor organizations to lay out their advocacy priorities for the year.

Local Union leaders will be joined by rank-and-file Union members, allied community organizations, and local elected officials at various levels of government. Over the course of several short presentations through the lens of our "Making NY Work" campaign, CDALF affiliates will present their legislative agenda for working class New Yorkers in 2015.

This widely attended community event will prepare labor and community activists to be more effective champions for our agenda over this legislative session and beyond.
