Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association Hosts a Luncheon With Guest Speaker Bernie Borges

Bernie Borges of Find and Convert to Present on Using Social Media to Bring Buyers and Sellers Together

ALBANY, NY (03/04/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) will host a luncheon event with guest speaker Bernie Borges, founder and CEO of Find and Convert. Buyers no longer tolerate sales messages; successful marketers must be collaborators, content publishers and friends with buyers. At NYCRAMA's March 18 luncheon at the Italian American Community Center in Albany, Borges will present the case for Marketing 2.0 – and how to use it to build solid relationships with buyers long before first contact.

Are you a trusted seller? Are your product and service offerings easy to find on the web? Do you inform, educate and entertain through your content? Do you listen and engage people through online channels? Today's buyers want to be engaged differently than in years past, and many traditional marketing tactics simply do not work anymore. Content marketing is the answer – and the social web is the channel. Borges will offer concrete examples of businesses and entrepreneurs using social media to gain profitable customers.

Borges is the founder and CEO of Find and Convert, an inbound marketing agency serving mid-size clients nationwide. Find and Convert helps companies get found on the web in order to build profitable and measurable relationships. The agency creates and implements organic and paid search marketing strategies and social media marketing strategies. Borges is a podcaster, blogger and frequent speaker on social media trends in business. His book, Marketing 2.0: Bridging the Gap between Seller and Buyer through Social Media Marketing, launched in July 2009. Marketing 2.0 is a playbook for mid-size businesses eager to develop their social media marketing strategy – or take their existing strategy to the next level.

A limited number of copies of Marketing 2.0 will be available for purchase at the luncheon, signed by the author onsite.
