ALBANY, NY (10/08/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) announced the winners of the 16th Annual Mark of Excellence Awards, which recognize results-driven marketing campaigns in the Capital Region, at its award ceremony on Wednesday evening.
On October 6, 2010, more than 100 of the region's marketing professionals and business leaders attended the 16th Annual Mark of Excellence Awards to honor Marketer of Excellence Beth Wales and ten campaign finalists, and to celebrate four campaign winners. Niels Schuurmans, executive vice president, brand marketing and creative for SPIKE TV, returned as the VIP emcee for the awards ceremony.
"This year's Mark of Excellence winners were chosen from an outstanding group of finalists," said Teal Vivacqua, co-chair for the 2010 Mark of Excellence. "When measured on results, the incredible talent of our Capital Region marketers is magnified."
"I'd like to thank and acknowledge all those who were involved in making the 2010 Mark of Excellence awards a success. Our special guests, sponsors and committee members deserve recognition for their hard work which made this event possible," said Michael Murray, co-chair of the 2010 Mark of Excellence.
The campaign winners were chosen by a panel of nationally recognized marketers from across the country.
