Coleman Named Brockport Athlete of the Week
The senior pitcher earned the honors after his win over New Paltz
BROCKPORT, NY (03/31/2014)(readMedia)-- Senior baseball player Matthew Coleman has been chosen as The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 30.
Coleman, a starting pitcher for the Golden Eagles, improved his season record to 2-0 with an 8-1 victory over New Paltz in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) matchup. Against the Hawks, Coleman allowed just five hits and one unearned run in eight innings pitched. So far this season, Coleman has a .219 ERA.
