Zartman Earns SUNYAC Weekly Honors
The senior tallied 12 points in two wins for the Golden Eagles
BROCKPORT, NY (03/25/2014)(readMedia)-- Senior Emily Zartman (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua) of The College at Brockport women's lacrosse team has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Week for the week ending on March 23.
Zartman dominated on offense for the Golden Eagles during a 2-0 week, improving #13 Brockport's overall record to 5-1. In two games, Zartman scored 11 goals and tallied one assists. Against Adrian on Saturday, Zartman scored two fast-break goals in the first two minutes of the game and got the Golden Eagles off to a commanding start in their 20-7 victory.
Brockport returns to action on Saturday at 2:30 pm for the first conference game on the season on the road at Oneonta.
