Schuler Named Brockport Athlete of the Week
Stephanie Schuler was chosen as the Brockport Female Athlete of the Week after a strong performance at Nationals
BROCKPORT, NY (03/25/2014)(readMedia)-- Junior gymnast Stephanie Schuler has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 23.
Schuler closed out the 2014 season with a strong finish at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championships in Ithaca with her second and third All-American honors.
Schuler collected two of the six All-American awards for the Golden Eagles and also helped them to a third place overall team finish.
On the balance beam, Schuler came in second place overall, earning Brockport's top finish of the day with a score of 9.75. She also added a third place finish on the uneven bars with a 9.725 routine for her second All-American award of the day.
