Correction: Casey Franklin to Play for Clearwater Christian College

CLEARWATER, FL (10/04/2010)(readMedia)-- Casey Franklin of Winston Salem, North Carolina was named to the roster of the Clearwater Christian College women's basketball team for the 2010-11 season. Franklin, a transfer from Piedmont Bible College in Winston Salem, North Carolina, is expected to play guard for the Cougars. Head coach Melanee Halstead's states: "Casey is a great addition for our program. She has a great head for the game, and plenty of game experience. As a transfer she has already melded with the returners. I think she will add depth that will strengthen us even more." Casey is the daughter of Phil and Debbie Franklin of Winston Salem.

Clearwater Christian College is a division II member of the National Christian College Athletic Association. Last year, Clearwater Christian College posted a 10-13 season record and placed second in regional competition in Clearwater, FL .
