Deadline for Women of Excellence Nominations Extended

This annual event celebrates women from the City of Beaver Falls, both young and old, who have blessed the community with service, leadership and strength.

BEAVER FALLS, PA (01/29/2015)(readMedia)-- Geneva College is currently seeking nominees for the Women of Excellence Awards . The deadline for submissions has been extended to Thursday, February 5, 2015. Nominations may be made online at www.geneva.edu/womenofexcellence.

This annual event celebrates women from the City of Beaver Falls, both young and old, who have blessed the community with service, leadership and strength. Geneva invites members of the Beaver Falls community to nominate a female friend or family member who deserves this honor.

Nominees must be female, at least 14 years old and have been a resident of the City of Beaver Falls for a minimum of three years.

The awards will be presented to the recipients during a brunch held on Geneva's campus on Saturday, March 23 at 11 a.m.

"We hope that this program is a campus-community bridge builder," says Kathy Kinzer-Downs, Director of Multicultural Student Services. "March is Women's History Month, so we hope to recognize and celebrate the women of Beaver Falls for their service and work in the community."
