Dustin Colgan Named First-Team All-Conference
The senior won the shot put event at the SUNYAC Championships
BROCKPORT, NY (02/28/2012)(readMedia)-- Dustin Colgan (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) of The College at Brockport Men's Track and Field team earned First-Team honors after winning the shot put event at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships. The Brockport men's team finished eighth overall at the championships.
Colgan came in first place in the men's shot put event with a throw of 15.53 meters (50 ft. 11 ½ inches). Colgan's distance was an ECAC-qualifying mark. In 2010-2011 Colgan was a Second-Team All-SUNYAC member.
