Pumpkins at Liberty Ridge Farm

SCHAGHTICOKE, NY (10/17/2014)(readMedia)-- This weekend at Liberty Ridge Farm it's the Pumpkin Palooza celebration and sale, the Cornmaze 5k, a kids costume contest and The Harvest Haunt.

The weekend kicks off with the Cornmaze 5k that is a winding run that begins on the farm grounds and end in the regions largest and original cornfield maze, to register go to: cornmaze5k.com. The Jockey 101.3 Fm will be on the farm Saturday from 12-2pm hosting the Pumpkin Palooza daytime celebration and conducting a costume contest for families with children 12 and under at 2pm. Daytime celebrations of food, fun and adventures are followed in the evening by the Harvest Haunted Attraction begining at 7pm.

Due to an amazingly bountiful harvest season the farm is conducting a Pumpkin Palooza mega pumpkin sale. The Pumpkin Palooza commemorates the farms 15 years of growing memories with pumpkin fun, pumpkin sales and an entire weekend celebration. The pumpkin sale includes; $15 dollar pumpkin specials; 3 giant jack o'lantern pumpkins for $15, 5 pie pumpkins for $15 or 2 white or pink pumpkins for $15, but that's not all!

The farm celebrates everything pumpkin this weekend, no coupons necessary. It will be a weekend filled with pumpkin checkers, pumpkin tetherball, pumpkin tic tac toe, pumpkin cannon shows, individual pumpkin shooter cannons, pumpkin picking, pumpkin candy and face painting, balloon artistry, magic and pony rides all over seen by the Pumpkin Princess. Pumpkin Palooza centers in Brad's Barnyard that has over 25 hands on outdoor activities. Pumpkin Palooza runs from 10am Saturday to 7pm Sunday Evening, admission is just $13.50.
