Farrell Named SUNYAC Player of the Week
The freshman earned SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week
BROCKPORT, NY (09/24/2013)(readMedia)-- After recording her second shutout of the season against Wells College, freshman Lindsay Farrell (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) of The College at Brockport field hockey team has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Defensive Player of the Week.
Farrell made three saves in the win over Wells and helped the Golden Eagles to improve to 4-2 on the season.
Brockport returns to action on Friday at 4:00 pm for the first SUNYAC contest of the season at Oneonta.
