Friends of Library Trip to Essex Farm

SCHENECTADY, NY (03/27/2014)(readMedia)-- The Friends of the Schenectady County Public Library are sponsoring a bus trip to Essex, N.Y. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 to visit Essex Farm, a 500 acre draft horse-powered CSA farm that is the subject of Kristin Kimball's book, The Dirty Life, a memoir about the farm's start-up year and Schenectady County Public Library's One County/One Book selection for 2014.

The cost of the trip is $75 for Friends members and $85 for non-members and includes tour fees and a specially prepared lunch made from farm fresh ingredients. Registration will run through April 24.
