Friends Kick Off 50th Anniversary Year

SCHENECTADY, NY (12/31/2015)(readMedia)-- The Friends of the Schenectady County Public Library will kick off their 50th year as a volunteer organization on Sunday, January 10th at 1:30 p.m. at the Central Library, 99 Clinton Street, Schenectady, NY. There will be brief remarks by John Karl, Friends President and Karen Bradley, Director of SCPL, followed by the first in the Beat the Snow winter concert series at 2:30 p.m. in the McChesney Room. The brass quintet, Route Fifty 5, will be the featured performers. Refreshments will be served. The events are free and open to the public.
