Whitney Book Corner Sale

SCHENECTADY, NY (03/23/2016)(readMedia)-- The Whitney Book Corner, 600 Union Street, Schenectady, will hold a sale on cookbooks and gardening books during the month of April. Books will be $1.00. Beginning in April the Whitney will celebrate the Friends of the Library 50th anniversary by featuring books popular during the last five decades, beginning with the sixties. Stop in and take a step back in history.

Regular store hours are Monday-Saturday, 10a.m.-4 p.m. (Thursday until 7 p.m.),and Sunday 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. On the first Thursday of each month from 4-7 pm books are half price.The Whitney Book Corner sells quality used books at reasonable prices as well as used audio books, CDs and DVDs. It is operated by the Friends of Schenectady County Public Library. All proceeds benefit the library system.
